Host

Craig Weinberg has been in the photography and graphic design business since 2004. He fell in love with photography, and his wife Sarah, on a trip to Africa in 2003. Starting in his hometown of Roseburg, OR, then moving to Milbank, SD in 2008, he set up VPD Studio on Main Street and began as a jack of all trades in the photography and design industry. He has mentored high school students and worked with both local and national businesses photographing everything from commercial campaigns to church directories, seniors, families, and sports groups to rodeos, politicians and vintage airplanes to name a few. He also operates a podcast studio out of his Main Street location and is currently producing or hosting 4 different shows at WhyMilbank.com. Craig has recently started to narrow his focus. After shooting everything, you start to learn what you love. For nearly 10 years he's been working on the art of the composite photo. The allure of the perfect picture mixed with a touch of fantasy. Using strobes, photoshop and creativity, he makes every family, corporate staff, car or motorcycle a work of art. The goal is to capture the personality of the family, or the car, or the business. He starts with lighting each person or object perfectly, and putting it together in the location that pulls it all together. Craig is a lover of learning and in turn loves to help others to improve their craft. He believes if the entire industry improves and continues to strive for excellence, everyone wins.
